Clerna
Resources and ideas for teachers everywhere
Clerna is a teacher-informed lesson plan and education resource site founded in 2026. The site’s main collection is a grade-organised library of lesson plans and classroom units for teachers, students, and people interested in education.
Many Clerna lessons have been developed from older teaching plans and updated for contemporary classroom use. The aim is to preserve workable classroom ideas while improving structure, readability, safety notes, assessment guidance, differentiation, and grade adaptation.
Clerna also draws on experience from earlier education websites, including FutureEducators.org, which operated from 2017 to 2026.

Lesson Plans and Teaching Resources
Grade-organised lesson library
Clerna’s lesson plans are organised by grade, from Kindergarten through high school. Teachers can browse by year level and find activities suited to different stages of learning.
Structured lesson plan format
Lesson pages usually include an overview, subject connections, learning goals, materials, preparation notes, teaching procedure, assessment, differentiation, and extension ideas.
Updated classroom activities
The lesson library includes science investigations, literacy units, history activities, math lessons, art projects, health lessons, and cross-curricular classroom projects. Older lesson ideas are revised so teachers can understand the purpose, setup, and classroom sequence more easily.
Supporting education articles
Alongside lesson plans, Clerna publishes articles on classroom practice, learning methods, study skills, education careers, and online learning.
Teaching Experience Behind Clerna
Clerna’s early direction was guided by Mrs Judith Patricia Lancaster, the site’s Founding Education Consultant. Judy brought decades of experience as a Tasmanian classroom teacher, including work in primary classrooms, special education, gifted education, and school community projects.
Her advice helped give Clerna a teacher-informed base. The lesson plans give attention to teacher workload, student support, literacy needs, classroom preparation, and flexible activities that can be adapted by teachers.
Clerna carries forward Unicurve’s experience in education publishing while giving the brand a more tangible centre: a growing lesson plan library organised around classroom use.
