How much does it cost an international student to live in the UK?

The United Kingdom is an affordable study destination compared to other English-speaking countries. It has low residential accommodation fees: around £6,000 per year for a standard package.

Wages in the UK

For international students who want to work part-time, the minimum wage is a modest USD $21,900 per year. Access to work is, however, limited. The job market is mainly open to students who are (i) going for a bachelor or higher degree and (ii) studying in a non-private institution.
